Now he has won his compensation case against the Hammers for unfair dismissal how much compensation do you think he will receive ?? Its got to run into millions and the court costs will also cost a packet as well.

Can West Ham afford this added burden bearing in mind they are supposed to be bordering on broke ??

Are things looking bleak for West Ham ? or are the rumours about their financial status way off the mark ?

I know, my first line was in relation to the style of your post, fellow middled aged posters will proably remember the program concerned,

Disappointed though at your attempts to defend the indefencable though on other threads your miles above that level, still the key seems to be just to ask straight forward questions.

As to the clubs money troubles, very few actually know the truth, I think the club is in deep deep sh*t whether we stay up or go down. Our Merchant Bankers are only interested in cash and as the club owns the land ofthat the stadium and training ground stand on they will make their money. If we dont get a buyer that can persuade these bloodsuckers to sell I think West Ham are well and truely screwed, I just keep thinking about what happened to Brighton.

Difference is GrumpyBrighton owned the land that the Goldstone was built on and the owners bought the club for the club for thatveryreason. Leeds dont own the land that Elland Road stands on selling Elland Road was never an option,Barcodes are lucky in that way as well.

Hardly gibberish Nially. I think West Ham's finances are a huge concern for the club. Mr Curbishleys claim isn't helping neither. I think he is entitled to compensation but how much who knows? I bet it hurts him to have to do this but if you could get a few million in your back pocket what would you do?
