After Wales win this years Grand Slam,I think we should seriously consider joining the Tri nations, while still a good competition the 6 nations isn't really up to the standards that Wales can play too,an exciting team like Wales with probably the best back line in world rugby should be testing themselvesagainst teams with equal ability on a regular basis such as NZ and SA.I feel the more inferior European sides will eventuallyonly bring Wales down to there level,it seems obvious to me that the Welsh team with there natural flair and skill will flourish in the tri nations

Ah yes ,here comes the jealousy, what you don't realise is Welshmen like New Zealanders and saffies are born with rugby in there blood ,we are generally gifted players with natural skill and flair ,while the likes of Scotland ,Ireland etc have to work at it a bit harder, not to say they arn't half decent sides, but certain rugby skills[back play mainly] don't come naturally to them.Who's the best player in the world?..a Welshman, which team is storming up the IRB rankings?..Wales...I rest my case

bonjeur redrosey!! how does it feel knowing the english could be top of the 6 nations by 2000hrs this evening!!and what a game by the way last night, top viewing, if it wasn't for the most over-rated player in the history of rugby (henson) then you would have won that match but his lack vision and talent cost you.the tri-nations must be shaking!!!!

Looks like you were right wales should join the tri-nations but sadly not the one you're thinking of. May I suggest a tri nations with scotland and Italy as these were the only teams you finished above.

i dont think youll get a reply from redfacedrosy for a while! but, as a competition, it was very close.Even though wales did finish 4th, it was a tremendous game of rugby, with 2 very evenly balanced teams. I was proud that the welsh boys took part in a proper game of rugby, but i do think that england will be the team to beat next year.I hope you paddys are still on the guinness!WELL DONE!

You know the welsh, they do liketo sing when their winning. Though I have to admit, us English thought the same thing when we were Six Nation Champions and World Champions, how foolish we would look now if we had.

plasteredmonkey, yes we do like to sing about winning the grand slam , because i dont know if youre new to rugby , but we havent had much to sing about for the last 30 years. So when a couple of grand slams come around in 4 years , we like to enjoy ourselves. Exactly what the irish are doing now, and the very best to them. They undoubtedly deserve it. Lets hope the majority take it on the chin, and be men about it .Not like the last twice we won it! Im sure you can remember their excuses.

Isn't the Tri Nations for Southern Hemershpere teams?
I think that Argentina should join. It is the only way they will improve. Like Italy in the Six Nations, they have improved since they joined, now they pick up the odd win which is usually against Scotland.
